Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AutoFitShapes, a web application for spatial arrangement and floor-planning of items within a layout boundary (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Your account

• You must provide a valid email address and a password of at least 8 characters. We verify your email before the account is active.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
• You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. The Service is not directed to children.
• One account per person. Do not share your account credentials.

2. Guest and free use

• Without an account ("guest"), you may build and save one design to your browser's local storage on that device. Cloud saving requires an account.
• Free, signed-in accounts may save and load their own cloud designs. Designs are scoped to your account; you cannot access other users' designs.

3. Paid features and payment

• Printing and downloading clean output are paid features, gated to accounts with an active subscription. Unpaid accounts see an upgrade prompt instead.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider (Lemonsqueezy). We do not store your full card number; card data is handled solely by the payment provider.
• Subscriptions are offered per the pricing shown in-app (for example, $2.95 / 3 months). An active subscription unlocks the paid features until its end date.

4. Refunds

If a paid feature is not delivered as described, contact us (below) and we will review your case. Refunds, where issued, are processed through the payment provider according to its policies.

5. Your content

• You retain ownership of the designs and data you create ("Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, store, and display your Content solely to operate the Service for you.
• You are responsible for your Content and must not upload material you do not have the right to use.
• You may delete your designs at any time. Account deletion removes your associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to store unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
• Attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service;
• Abuse, overload, or attack the Service or its infrastructure.

7. Service availability

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and our liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (or, for free use, to zero monetary liability).

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
